Our Mission & Vision Statements

Our Vision

By the power of the Holy Spirit our Corps will be seen to be responsible for the effective proclamation of Christ the Redeemer

Our Mission

We exist to worship God, to communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to bring people into a relationship with Him by the power of the Holy Spirit, and to reach out to the community through a caring ministry.

Our vision is to be a church that never stands still, always on the move – developing, innovating, changing and growing, by seeking to respond to the biddings of God, honouring the traditions of the Salvation Army whose ethos has always been to provide a social service as a direct expression of a spiritual conviction. Thus we shall be a worship centre that offers contemporary and traditional styles, whilst flexible enough to adapt to best facilitate God’s will in bringing men, women and children into a relationship with Jesus.

We shall be a nurturing and outreaching body serving only as needed and in that sense be a responsible and accountable part of the universal church, totally responsive to God’s will.
